Emily's Review of The Sims 3 Generations

Post  Em Ily on Wed Apr 11, 2012 8:41 am

Hey guys, I thought I’d do a review on The Sims 3 Generations as it is one of my favourite Expansion Packs of The Sims 3 Series.

I’m in love with creating large families full of Family-Orientated Sims in them! So even when I first heard the title of this pack I already knew it was going to be a pack that I would be fond of. If you’re in to families and lots of kids and toddlers, I recommend that you get this expansion pack.

I love all of the new Generations objects, especially the Bunk Beds and Treehouse! There are a lot more objects for toddlers and children and a lot more interactions with them as well, so you can really have a family-feel game as well.

There isn’t really anything I don’t like about this pack, other than when your Sims get offered a free vacation (yes, Sims can go on free vacations and leave the Teens at home to throw a new Teen Party!) and when they come back all of their fixed wants have been removed. Nothing big, just something that is a little disappointing.

I would give Generations at least 9 out of 10 because of all of the great new objects, interactions and parties. I feel that EA really didn’t hold back in this expansion, as some simmers feel they have in others.

This expansion pack is definitely worth buying, and if its your first expansion purchase, this would be a great one to buy because you get such a wide range of additions to your game!
