Just a random thread! How are you all doing?

Super! I really want to play sims... but I don't feel like getting up to get the game xD lol

Good! I haven't played today I've been editing this all day! I was supposed to go out with my boyfriend but he was busy or something. I've got eye strain! Apart from that I'm fabulous thanks! Did you do anything today? What time is it there?

I'm glad that we're getting more and more popular. Its kind of sad, but I was happy that we reached 10 visitors on the forum at one time! Lol. I can't wait for more Simmers!

I had two classes this morning and early afternoon, but that's it, so besides that, I haven't done much!
It's currently 7:23 where I am, on the wonderful east coast of the USofA.

My favorite show is going to be on soon - Raising Hope! I think next week is the season finale Now I have to wait until next fall to watch more new episodes.

Isn't it ironic - we anxiously wait for summer to be out of school, yet when our favorite shows end for the summer, we want fall to come quickly!

I'd much rather have summer break, though! lol


Hey, we're growing, and that's what counts! 10 members is certainly exciting! I keep checking to see the newest members - did you realize we have over 200 posts, and over 70 topics or something? That made me excited! haha

Tutututut! In class! The forums are addictive though, its half 12 here at night, not really tired though. I'm off until monday for easter so I can get up when I want! I live on the North-East Coast in England, its pretty freezing here!

And Raising Hope, I've heard of it. I might have to have a watch. Do you watch Pretty Little Liars? or The Lying Game?

I'm so happy with how we've turned out up to now, I hope we increase our popularity even more!

I'm good at multitasking, so it's all good, I'm a good student lol
I'm usually up that late, too lol. We just had our easter "break", but we only got one day off, last friday. But, I don't have classes on Friday, so, it wasn't like a break, but kinda, I guess? lol

We've had some average weather lately - cloudy and very windy, but kinda warm. 40s and 50s (f, not celsius, because we americans feel the need to be different than everyone else! lol). I can't for sunny and 70 degrees, though!

Raising Hope is so funny and so strange! You probably have to have a certain kind of humor to like it, but it's really cute

I don't have cable, so I don't get the channels with those shows lol. Actually, yesterday something happened to one of the tv towers or something, and half of our channels didn't come in (when you get like, 10 channels, half is a lot, especially since 3 are spanish channels! lol)


I'm sure we will, just gotta keep advertising! I'm spamming like crazy - I'll probably get yelled at, but oh well lol

I always get random bursts of inspiration at this time for some reason, I have a headache now though but I'm not that tired (as I just yawned!)

I was shocked then when you said 40s-50s until I read the F hahaha, its never been that over here! Not while I've been here anyway! But 70 Degrees OMG!! How do you handle that? I get sun stroke from 25!

I might like Raising Hope (I accidentally wrote Raiding instead of Raising then ) I bet everyone panicked when the channels went out! I couldn't live with out my TV!

Yes, everything I say about temperature is F! lol. and the 70 is F, too. So, 21ish in C? It's never been that warm for you? Here, that's like, nothing. We've been as high as 100 F before! lol, and I'm not even near the equator, closer to Canada, actually! I guess you get used to it when you live here your whole life lol.

Because we dont have a lot of channels, it was like, eh, oh well, lol! Plus, it was on Sunday, so there wasn't really anything on tv anyways, and we have Netflix, so it was all good lol.

I don't know when or what channel Raising Hope would be on for you, its on Fox for me, at 8 (about 5 minutes). But, if you get a chance to watch it, you should, and let me know what you think! haha.


I feel like such an outsider, being the only one in the US, or at least the only one currently here talking lol

I'm from the US too. It's currently 9:42pm here and I am wide awake. I have been packing and packing to move from where I am now to Mississippi with my boyfriend. Big leap there. Hopefully it works out. Mother didn't take to kindly to me moving....

No mother ever does haha. Good luck on your move - it can be quite an adventure! I loved decorating and getting new things for my place - lots of fun, when you're not stressing over everything else haha

Haha I don't think he will like my choice of decorations. I asked him what he wanted me to do with all my Disney stuff because I collect it. He said we could get a glass cabinet to put in the living room and I can put all my stuff there. I told him I'd make him a hardcore Disney fan yet. Since he has 2 sons I am sure it wont be so bad.

I am getting ready to work on a Sim for the first contest here. Try to anyways. I'm not the greatest at making sims or anything, but it's still fun to try. I have to finish laundry and do some more packing before I can hit the sack. *sigh* I leave next weekend.

I wish I were better at creating sims.
Not that I'm terrible at it. But if I'm trying to make it look like someone specific (god forbid I'm successful at making one look like me, despite how hard I try! lol) forget about it.

I've tried asking other players to make a sim for me that looks kind of like me, so I can have a nice avatar. But, everyone I ask end up forgetting about me... which I find odd since they have their little requests teams, which I requested through, so it's like, hello?? I'm a customer! -_- lol. oh well!

Aw I am sorry. I would offer to try but it wouldn't be fair since I wont have the time here soon. Sometimes I think it's better not to have someone try and make a sim of you. You could have a completely different idea how you'd want yourself to look and they could do something that may offend the person they are trying to create. It's a fine line there. I wouldn't ask anyone to make me. I'd be afraid to see what they'd do.

Lol, true, I guess. I don't think I'd care, personally. I just think it's easier to make someone else than yourself, because I probably make my simself prettier than I really am, to be honest xD lol. I'd personally rather have someone make me exactly how they see me, to get the real me, whereas I would probably try to change things I don't like about myself.

Plus. I'm not very good at changing all the little tiny things in the face to get features similar to my own, another reason why I tend to stick to the "professionals". But, eh, whatever. It is what it is I guess lol

My avatar is my sim-self I attempted on my own. I don't think the face is even close lol. I don't know. xD

I think everyone makes their "simself" prettier or more handsome..... For example, my avi is my simself. Looks nothing like me except for the freckles. I always say it's me in my mind. lol

Lol, true. Mine I tried to make as close to me as possible, avoiding the pretty things as much as possible, but I think it just looks plain. I can't win xD Maybe I'll try again this weekend and compare it to a picture as a reference. We'll see how that goes... lol
