Ooh, fabulous idea!
I don't usually wear a lot of make up unless I'm going somewhere special haha. Usually I just slap on some eye liner and that's it. But I lovee seeing all the different make up creations - it's like a form of art, really!
Every now and then, I do photo shoots, and this picture shows what the make up artist did on my eyes - I thought it came out so awesome! But, not something you'd have for just hanging out lol
I can't wait to see what you post!

Re: Emily's Beauty Blogs and Reviews
I received the BaByliss Root Boost as a Christmas present as I had wanted it a long time but never got round to actually buying it. I was attracted to the product because I have long and thick hair, so I find it very hard to give it some life without it dropping out throughout the day.
When I opened the package, I found that it was a very light and nice-looking hair styler. It has two pink plates that heat up to create the look, and it is a very slim product. I liked the way the product looked and it fits in my drawer easily. The product has three heat settings that work best dependant on the thickness of your hair and it has an on and off button.
Once I turned the styler on for the first time, I was using the heat setting 170. This heat setting is perfect for me because it not to hot to ruin my hair and it allows me to create the look fast.
The first time I used the styler I was not completely sure how to use it properly and I was not too pleased with the results. With practice, however, I achieved a perfect ‘big hair’ look that stayed in for the whole day.
Here are some brief instructions on how I use the product,
1. Firstly, I turn the styler on the 170 setting and wait for it to heat up.
2. While the product is heating, I prepare my hair by taking quite a thick top layer of hair around my parting and clipping it back. This is because I do not want the crimped hair to show through it.
3. I then take the styler and crimp a flat section of the next layer of hair for about 5-8 seconds. I do this all around the layer and then clip the layer back so that I can begin to work on the next.
4. I do the same for the next two layers.
5. Once the third layer is complete, instead of clipping it back I let it drop and unclip the other layers of my hair and put them in to place.
6. I use some hairspray on the crimped hair so that it stays in place and I use my fingers through the roots to shake my hair out a little.
7. Finally, I use a mist of hairspray all over my hair so that the look is there for the full day.
Do not worry if you do not get the desired results first time because practice makes perfect!
With this product, I do not suggest that you use it too much because you will ruin your lovely hair as your roots will dry up and make your hair look dry and split. To create an extra boost, wash your hair and dry it with a blow dryer or the BaByliss Big Hair if you have it. This will make your hair look extra big and thick.
I really like this product as it makes my hair look very natural and I don’t have to worry about it dropping out during the day. I would definitely recommend this product to any girl because it allows you to create the look in seconds and it makes your hair look very big.
Thanks for reading my first ever review! And I hope you enjoy this product
Re: Emily's Beauty Blogs and Reviews
Can you explain the "big" look? To me, the product looks like a hair straightener. I use mine to straighten my hair, but I'm not sure what you mean by "big" hair.
I have very thick hair, as well, and I usually like to keep it short as long hair drags my face down and makes me look really young. Usually, though, when it's short, because it's so thick, it gets very poofy, almost like I have a fro! It's so ridiculous looking lol!
My straightener is a blessing because it helps tame the fro (thinning it and giving it layers helps, too!) I usually only use it when I go out, though, so as not to ruin my hair, like you said. It helps to use different creams to help protect your hair from the heat. Do you have a certain product you use like this that you like? I don't have any, I just straighten it as is, but I'd like to see what you think and what you use

Fro lol! For a product for heat protection I'm not completely sure of what I'd suggest as I have about 20 of them! At the moment the one I'm using the most is Charles Worthington London Heat Protection Spray. Its really cheap but it seems to be good for my hair.
Also, the Tresemme Split Remedy shampoo and conditioner works fantastically if you have split ends. As well as the Thermal Recovery and Anti-Breakage sets.
And for the "big" look, it basically makes your hair double in thickness! One day I'll take a photo after I've done it, which will be soon.
Here's an example though:
I hope this helps!

Re: Emily's Beauty Blogs and Reviews
Ohh, makes sense! I guess I don't really need to do anything like that since my hair is naturally big lol xD
Re: Emily's Beauty Blogs and Reviews
I guess we always want what we don't have - I hate my hair! lol
It actually hasn't been as "big" lately. It's kind of long at the moment, but the last time I cut it, it wasn't as big. Maybe because of the layers. Yeah, that's probably it lol.
when I was in high school, I used to take showers at night, then wake up in the morning and go to school without doing anything to my hair. When dried naturally, it would curl naturally, but not like, messy curls or anything. My friends called it "sex" hair lol. I loved it like that, but it doesn't do that any more
I guess my hair changes a lot, it's weird haha
